May 19, 1955 Elvis performed at the Memorial Auditorium, Raleigh, North Carolina, which was Elvis' last show of the tour.

May 19, 1956 Elvis performed at the University of Nebraska Coliseum, Lincoln, Nebraska. Elvis was asked whether Rock & Roll had a bad influence on teenagers and he replied: "I don't even smoke or drink and I started singing as a gospel singer and come from a Christian home."

May 19, 1965 Elvis recorded his final vocal for the Frankie and Johnny soundtrack at the Goldwyn Studios.

May 19, 1971 After recording 2 more gospels for his upcoming album, Elvis sat down behind the piano and played some of his old favorites in the early hours of the morning.

May 19, 1972 Elvis returned to Los Angeles.
